Springtime Manicure with Nicole by O.P.I.

Hi all! Have you ever tried Nicole by O.P.I.? I have seen their polishes but had never tried them, they sent me 4 colors to try and I love them! Nicole by O.P.I. was created to meet demand at the retail level for products with O.P.I.’s higher standards. Celebrity collaborations are a huge part of their allure for many, including me!

The first two nail polishes are from the Selena Gomez Collection, the second two are from the Modern Family Collection. I received “Naturally” A true bubblegum pink, in the bottle it has a slight shimmer but on the nail it comes off opaque. Then “Love Song” a gorgeous true vibrant purple, this one also has shimmer in the bottle but is opaque on the nail. “Alex by the books” is a true sea foam green cream, if you add a second coat it darkens and becomes a pistachio green. “Stand by your manny” is the only metallic in the bunch, it is a great springtime blue with silver micro glitter. You can add 1 coat to add pizzaz to a coordinating color or add two coats for a stand alone color.

Here is the manicure I created using all four colors! It is a random moon dot pattern, to achieve this look I added 2 coats of the green and then using a dotting tool (or toothpicks, like me) take the other 3 colors and add polkadots from your cuticle downward avoiding the tips of the nails so the base color shows through. Wait for them to dry and add a good topcoat and some cuticle oil. Congrats, you have a achieved a super easy springtime mani 🙂
