E.L.F. Mini Haul & Swatches

I received my E.L.F. order and thought I would share what I chose to try out this time. Do I need more makeup? No…. don’t judge, it’s my weakness 🙂 Plus this loot cost pennies because I used a coupon code for 50% off the Studio Line (which has since expired), just keep your eye out they have new ones all the time. If you have never ordered from E.L.F. I thought I would show you the packaging, it is sturdy enough for me

Here is everything out of the packages. Please note: on the Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow the sticker with the name of the color is on the BOX not on the container so don’t chuck the packaging with out peeling the sticker off and adding it to the container yourself 😉

Now for the swatches: From left to right. Contouring blush/contour cream in “St. Lucia”, HD Blush in “Diva”, Eyebrow Kit in “Medium”, Long-lasting Lustrous Eyeshadows in “Soiree” & “Toast”, matte lip colors in “Praline” & “Rich Red”, and Glitter Gloss in “Golden Glitz”. I am very happy with the textures and pigment on every one of these!

I also picked up three brushes, the Small stipple brush is great for cream blushes. I needed that one badly. The blending eye brush is a favorite for me I reach for this one A LOT…over my my expensive brushes even. With the eyelash and brow wand I love to brush my brows up for trimming and to de-clump mascara 🙂

I also chose some of the $1 line products, the Essentials Line. Here is the packaging for these, they are not a well packed obviously…in fact the lipstick was completely out of the package and broken. They are sending me a new one though so no worries… In case you are wondering, yes the powder is too dark I was planning on using it for contouring/bronzing but I may have to down a shade

Here are the swatches from left to right: Eyelid primers in “Golden & “Champagne” Lipstick in “Charming” and Clarifying powder in “Toffee”. All of you who follow my blog know my favorite pink lipstick is “Charming” to see how it looks on my lips go to this post. Well, I ordered this one as my backup. Besides arriving broken when I swatched it, I knew the color was way off it looked exactly like “Seductive” another color I also have. So I grabbed it, swatched them side by side and guess what??? I was right! My biggest fear came true…they changed the formula! That is horrible, I love this color and recommend it all the time. No more 🙁
