I have a LOT of earrings, but I just realized the other day that I had NO studs! So I of course set out to change that, a trip to Hobby Lobby later I had all my supplies to make quite a few stud earrings. I will start out by saying you can make anything with a flat back into earrings or hair clips (buttons, charms, etc.) which led me to the scrapbooking section where I found these grommet packs, they where perfect because there was so much variety, then I picked up glue and flat pad earring posts. I also snagged some flat back bobby pins. When I got home I remembered I had picked up brown clay roses that also had a flat backs.
- Step one: Remove the grommets, taking your plyers slowly grasp and pull the grommets away, they pop right off.
- Step two: Take your flat back post and add a bit of glue, then press down to join the two pieces.
- Step Three: Leaving the earrings charm side down, let the dry on a plate overnight.
- Step Four: Enjoy!
Since one thing leads to another with me (think, if you give a mouse a cookie) I have another quick little project on how to organize these adorable little earrings! Stay tuned for that…meanwhile have fun 🙂

This is the best idea! They turned out so lovely, I’ll definitely have to try this one day! Thanks for posting this <3
