This is my super simple Fix + recipe. I was forced to come up with my own concoction due to sensitive skin and refusing to pay so much for a setting spray. Also, one of the ingredients is caffeine which I don’t like to put on my face, also the preservative they use is also an irritant. There are other sprays out there that are more budget friendly but none that have worked for me. I like to keep things as natural as possible and if you do too, give this a try.
What you will need:
- Distilled water
- Tea Tree oil
- Lavender oil
- Small spray bottle
- Funnel and Glitter letter decals are optional but strongly recommended 🙂
Instructions:
Add the distilled water to a clean spray bottle leaving a little room at the top. Add 5 drops of each oil…that’s it. Shake the bottle before use and enjoy! Lavender oil is a antiseptic & aromatherapeutic. Tea tree is also an antiseptic, so this spray is great for the acne prone.
A couple of ways I use it are after I clean and moisturize my face especially on any blemishes, and to set my makeup, my favorite is how well it works to get rid of the “powdery” look. Have fun, bye for now….
Wow, this sounds awesome! Totally want to make this for myself. I love your whole site!
You should! It’s amazing, I’ll never pay for Fix+ again 🙂

Thats sounds super simply amazing. As well as your DIY option of brush cleanser. Definitely going to make to of this by my self!
Thanks!!!
Thanks! You should try them both! I use both of these very day! 🙂 XO
Thanks so much for this! I have the same problem with my own face–the caffeine irritates my skin, but I’m out and about all day and need something to keep my makeup in place. I can’t wait to give this a try!
Will it still work if you don’t have lavender oil because I don’t have any more
Hi, the oil is really to mask the alcohol scent. So it’s not really a must but it’s nice to have 🙂
Can you use witch hazel instead of distilled water?
Yes you can! XO
What size is that spray bottle?
This one is about 4 ounces, you can adjust the recipe depending on your bottle size 🙂
