All matte eye looks are very requested, and while I am a shimmer girl myself, I usually combine shimmers and mattes for defining. Tip…try a matte only in your crease and see what a difference it can make on your eye definition. Here is an all matte brown look for all who requested it! I used my 26 shadow blush palette to create this look for you.
Follow these instructions to get the look:
The four colors on the top right are all matte and the blush on the far left is also matte, it is a nude pink, great for highlight and blending. I’m a rule breaker so I used the “blush” as eyeshadow. I added it on my lid up to the crease, then I layered the colors labeled inner and outer lid over that, doing this, created a nice gradual color increase leaving the inner corner light and bright. Then I added the crease color and blended that color out with the dark blending color. I also used the “blush” color to blend any harsh lines and highlight my brow bone. Then I finished my eyes off with brown liquid liner and two coats of mascara. On my cheeks I used the color labeled blush (it is a beautiful terra cotta color). For my lips I lined them with a nude liner and added a gloss to the outer lip only. Scroll down for links to all the products I used.
Have fun recreating this look and a big thanks to all you that have entered my Giveaway! As always, have fun 🙂
I love this look! <3 I'm the exact same, I tend to use shimmers a lot more. But you've done this matte eye really well 😀
